MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Our Unwavering Commitment to Earning Our Clients’ Trust
No matter what the times or environment may be, we consider it our mission, as a team of intellectual property (IP) professionals, to always understand our clients' perspectives and continue to devote ourselves wholeheartedly to achieving their business objectives.
Both now and in the future, “what is required” will continue to change domestically and internationally. In some situations, the speed of change will make it increasingly difficult to discern “what is needed in the first place.” Even in such times, we seek to remain close to our clients and, as IP professionals, to help them build a world where intellectual properties created by the wisdom of human beings receive due recognition and where businesses in Japan and around the world are able to make significant contributions to the sustainable development of society through those intellectual properties.
Based on this philosophy, we have been making consistent efforts to secure our clients’ domestic and international IP rights that align with their business objectives. In addition to working on the acquisition of IP rights, such as patent rights, utility model rights, design rights, and trademark rights, we have also been working diligently to support the business development of our clients in various IP negotiations between businesses in Japan and between Japanese and overseas businesses (including IP negotiation-related work, such as clearance searches/invalidation material searches, expert opinions, and the handling of oppositions, trials, and litigations), as well as in IP contract negotiations related to business alliances, for example.
We will continue to provide solid support for our clients’ business activities. To achieve this, it is essential that we continuously develop human resources who can discern the essence of things and make useful proposals to our clients, even amidst rapidly changing times.
To ensure that such human resource development produces solid results, we believe it is important to maintain and improve an environment and atmosphere in which all of our members, with their diverse backgrounds, respect one another and are motivated to grow together.
Each and every member of Nagoya International IP Firm continues to engage in dialogue with our clients and work boldly and passionately, with a positive attitude and a deep sense of fulfillment. By doing so, we continue to produce outcomes that contribute to the further development of our clients’ businesses. We believe that this is what embodies our slogan, “Break New Ground Together.”
While cherishing the wide-ranging experiences we have accumulated and the invaluable asset of the trust bestowed upon us by our clients, all of our members will continue to work together to hone our skills so that we can be of even greater service to our clients.
We would be most grateful for your continued support and guidance.
PresidentKeisaku Ishihara
